Intro to Kundalini

Class Description:

Kundalini yoga is a blend of shakti (power) with bhakti (love or devotion). Through mantra (focus and projection of the mind through sound), kriya (a series of poses designed to achieve a complete result), deep relaxation, and meditation this technology expands one’s awareness. It is a spiritual practice open to all faiths. Students are invited to have their own personal and unique experience with the Infinite, Nature, or their own understanding of Higher Power. “The purpose of kundalini yoga is to create a balance with the spirit, with the mind, and with the body. In this introduction to Kundalini Yoga workshop we will learn:
what is kundalini?
mantras used in each class
mudras (hand positions used to direct energy)
an introductory class

The best way to determine if this practice is for you is to try it! Bring an open mind and wear comfortable clothes. It is not recommended to eat a heavy meal before class.

Carla Faletti is a KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Yoga has been an integral part of Carla’s life since 2009. In 2017, she published her first book, Courting Shakti. It details her deep longing to know and connect with the feminine aspect of God. One of her favorite things is to learn about different spiritual paths. She is a forever student and a lover of God. Daily meditation is her touchstone.
